The Question: What are the Akashic Records?

The Answer:Linda likes to call the Records "The Chronicles of You." Every person has their own Akashic Record, a dimension of consciousness containing a vibrational record of everything that every soul has ever thought, said, and done over the course of its existence — as well as all its future possibilities. Akasha is a Sanskrit word (“primary substance”), but the Records have been known by a variety of names across cultures, such as The Book of Life.

The Question: How can the Records help me?

The Answer:

    In the process of opening the Records for ourselves or others, we transition from a state of ordinary human consciousness to a state of Divine universal consciousness in which we recognize our Oneness with the Divine at all levels. This state of consciousness allows us to perceive the impressions and vibrations of the Records. In this way, the Records have served humanity throughout our unfolding by being an extraordinary state through which we can receive Divine illumination at a manageable rate and integrate it into our human experience. Because of this integration, we can quite literally say that accessing the Akasha allows us glimpses of Heaven on earth!

    The Records offer so much opportunity. For example, you can learn hard-won lessons from your other lifetimes, and uplevel your skill in navigating the relationship between your inner truth and external reality. Profoundly empowering! The Question: What is the Linda Howe Online Center for Akashic Studies (LHOCAS)?

The Answer: LHOCAS is a new outgrowth of the existing Linda Howe Center for Akashic Studies (LHCAS) that was founded in 2002 to accelerate the spread of Akashic Light and Love throughout the world. Linda and her specially selected Certified Teachers are thrilled to be able to deliver both live and on-demand (prerecorded) classes online to a global audience. Not only do you save travel time and expenses, you can watch the video archives at your convenience if you are busy during a live session.

The Question: I see you offer Certification and also Enrichment classes. What's the difference?

The Answer: Certification Classes: Inspire and illuminate your spiritual path as you learn the fundamentals for a dynamic soul-level connection within your Akashic Records. Certification classes are developed and delivered by Dr. Linda Howe, founder and director of LHOCAS. They are foundation classes for Dr. Howe's method – including her Pathway Prayer Process© -- and are recognized as requirements for Teacher Certification Training.

Online Certification from Dr. Linda Howe tells your clients that you trained with the world's leading expert on using the Records for personal empowerment and transformation. Having completed one or more classes shows that you did some very in-depth work on yourself and that you have the knowledge and tools to help others as a Certified Practitioner, if you choose. You will receive an e-Certificate suitable for framing upon successful completion of a Certification class.

Enrichment Series: Discover various ways of working in the Akashic Records to accelerate your growth and transformation. Enrichment Series sessions are developed by Elite Certified Teachers to support your practice in the Records, using Dr. Linda Howe's Pathway Prayer Process©. These sessions do not require homework. They are not intended to be foundation classes for Dr. Howe's method, and they are not a substitute for Certification Classes.

The Question: Do I need experience in the Records to take any of the classes?

The Answer: Beginner or advanced student –all are welcome! No need to be psychic or even intuitive. The Akashic Records meet you where you're at!

The Question: How does payment work?

The Answer: Classes are conducted on the platform of Learn It Live; payments are handled by Learn It Live. If you prefer to pay in installments, you will need to look into PayPal Credit, as you cannot pay installments directly to Learn It Live. 

The Question: How does it work to register, attend a live class, and view a class recording?

The Answer: Here's what you'll need to do to access a class:

  1. Register for the class and create or sign in to your account.
  2. On the day of the class, you can enter up to 30 minutes in advance.
  3. Click "Enter Live Session” and you will be taken into the live classroom.
  4. To view a recording, click “View Recording” and you will be taken to the recorded class video.

The Question: How do I enter the live class session?

The Answer: After you've registered for a class, to enter the live class session, do the following:

  • Log into your account at https://orion.learnitlive.com/ and click the green "Enter Live Session" button from your private profile. This button becomes activated 30 minutes before the session start time. You will be automatically brought into the session.

The Question: How do I view the recorded class session?

The Answer: Recordings are generated and available within 6 hours after the class session ends. If you are already registered for the class, these recorded sessions will be automatically routed to your profile where they will be permanently accessible for viewing. If you are not yet registered, you can register for the recording only. Here's how you'll view the recording:

  • Log into your account at https://orion.learnitlive.com/, click the orange "View Recording" button on the class widget, and you will be taken to the recorded class video.

The Question: What can I do in the virtual classroom?

The Answer: The virtual classroom has many features and tools that you can use to interact with during class. You can:

  • Broadcast and view live video and audio;
  • Chat with the instructor and other students;
    • Participate in live polls;
  • View a presentation in the main area;
  • Work on collaborative whiteboards;
  • Share your desktop;
  • And much more!

The Question: What Internet browser should I use to access the site?

The Answer: We recommend using a modern browser like Chrome or Firefox. Please avoid using an outdated browser and especially Internet Explorer as can cause issues with video and audio when viewing live and recorded sessions.

The Question: What are the Quick Tip Videos?

The Answer: The “Quick Tip” video library is a collection of short videos on key wellness topics such as cooking, nutrition, sleep, fitness, and more! They are designed to watch quickly on the go, at your desk, or at home.

The Question: Can I use a mobile device, like an iPad or iPhone, to access the site?

The Answer: Yes! The system will recognize your device and automatically send you to the mobile classroom.

The Question: How do I know if a class is live or recorded?

The Answer: Live classes have a "Start" date and time listed and appear in green, while recorded classes have a "Recorded" date and time and appear in orange.

The Question: How do I know which courses are eligible for the three required e-Learnings?

The Answer: When you log in, click on “Classes” at the top of the page. Then in the left-hand menu, click “BeFit Reasonable Alternative” and then “e-Learnings.” Alternatively, you can simply click this link.

The Question: How do I know which group courses are eligible for Reasonable Alternative credit?

The Answer: When you log in, click on “Classes” at the top of the page. Then in the left-hand menu, click “BeFit Reasonable Alternative” and then “Group Coaching.” Alternatively, you can simply click this link.

The Question: I can’t find quizzes for a course I am registered in. How do I make sure I am enrolled in a Certification (that has required quizzes)?

The Answer: When you register for a course you will automatically be enrolled in the certification and the quizzes will be posted in your account under “Certifications.” If you do not see the quizzes or certification in your account you can “Enroll” in the certification manually by going to the course page, clicking on the certification link and clicking “Enroll.” See this screengrab:

The Question: How do I find my Certifications (quizzes) once I’ve already started a class?

The Answer: When you log in, if you have certifications pending, you will see a small pop-up in the left of the screen. It will direct you to find your quizzes by clicking the orange “See them now” button or “Certifications” link in the left hand menu.

The Question: How do I know if I've passed my quiz?

The Answer: You will see the following message at the top of the Certifications page:

The Question: How do I know if I have not passed my quiz?

The Answer: The system will prompt you to take the quiz again and will point out which questions were answered incorrectly.

The Question: How will I know when I've completed the three required e-Learnings for Reasonable Alternative?

The Answer: When you log in, go to your Certifications area. When you see a blue “Download Certificate” button to the right of the three e-Learnings (all the eligible courses will have the word “e-Learning" in the title), then you have successfully completed the three that are required. Due to the fact that the Learn It Live Learning Center and the BeFit portal do not communicate, you WILL NOT see this reflected on your BeFit account. You will only see a change when you have FULLY COMPLETED the entire Reasonable Alternative program.

The Question: When will I get my points for watching an optional webinar from Penny George?

The Answer: Reports are sent to the BeFit portal weekly (on Fridays). It can take up to four weeks for upload and point awards to show on your account. PLEASE NOTE: If you do not have a valid employee ID number in your profile on Learn it Live, you WILL NOT receive credit for attending a webinar. Also note that you can only receive the 500-point award ONCE PER CALENDAR QUARTER.

The Question: When will I get my points/award for Reasonable Alternative?

The Answer: Due to the way our systems interact, we cannot show enrollment or progress in the program, only completion. When you have fully completed your Reasonable Alternative program, your information will be sent to the BeFit portal to award your points and grant your insurance premium credits. This report is sent weekly, on Fridays. Completion can take up to four weeks to appear on your account.
